Tee Tipping: Raise Money, Earn Money, Design Shirts!

Did you know we're starting to sell t-shirts? But we’re doing it by a process we call “Tee Tipping!” What is Tee Tipping? Glad you asked. Here’s how it works: we launch a t-shirt design and promote it like crazy via our social media channels, but we don’t print the shirts unless we reach our minimum goal (in other words, until it’s Tipped). It’s like Groupon for t-shirts, Buckeye themed t-shirts!

Here’s the best part. If we select a design that YOU submit, we will share the proceeds with you! That’s right. So you get a chance to earn money from submitting your Buckeye T-shirt designs. Many Buckeyes have great ideas for shirts but lack the reach and/or desire to promote it- no worries, we’ll help with that. We will only “Tip” one shirt design at a time, this way we put all of our effort into reaching the Tipping point for that shirt. Only the most inspiring designs will make it to the printing presses.

The goal of Tee Tipping is three-fold: raise money to support the website; provide classic, limited edition shirts for our supporters; crowdsource the best Buckeye shirt designs!

What are you waiting for? If you have a design that you want to submit, send it over to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we’ll take a look at it. And as always, GO BUCKS!

I am an engineer who loves Ohio State University. I also recognized that others also have a tremendous affection for everything Buckeye. So I decided to create OurBuckeyeHub, an online Hub for engaging, connecting, and sharing with other Buckeye students, alumni, and fans. OurBuckeyeHub is not just a sports blog. It's a meeting place for students as well as fans and the subjects covered range from campus news to football commentary. If you like what you see, be sure to join and spread the word!
